I started working in China with another American missionary couple in 2004 working with different projects including an English Train Center that would have an impact on many lives. Together we started a pre-school/day care center that catered to children of migrant workers. This gave the parents a place they could take their kids to while they worked during the day and also an educational beginning for them.

In 2010 Xiao Shuang took on the responsibility of teaching these little children and is still doing it today. She has a passion for teaching children, especially those who are less fortunate. Two years ago she received her teaching degree after many years of going to school part time. This year has been a big year for Xiao Shuang, she recently was married and received her diploma from Living Springs Bible Institute.

Xiao Shuan insisted I be in this picture. I had just arrived in China and could hardly keep my eyes open, but I felt like a proud dad being able to be their to support her. It was an honor. Im taking today off to do nothing but sleep and get ready for a busy rest of the week.
